Only the 64-bit version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM “5” is available to download. Therefore a typical laptop configuration is incapable of running a suitable demo environment, without running Windows Server 2008 as your host operating system.
However, Sun VirtualBox (open source virtualization software) supports both 32-bit and 64-bit ‘guest’ virtual machines, on a standard 32-bit laptop / PC. You can download the software here:
